چکیده

This article presents a nonlinear equivalent circuit model of an isolated dc-dc converter with 3-phase medium frequency transformer. The takes into account the magnetic cross saturation core-type circuit. is suitable in detailed electromagnetic transient simulations power systems involving converters. developed using Lagrange energy method. It involves matrix dynamic inductances containing term resulting from core magnetization and linear leakage flux. parameters are determined based on series magnetostatic finite element method simulations. approach convenient when applied to high transformers offering limited characterization effort, or if transformer prototype does not exist. experimental validation performed novel MFT 100 kW 1.2 kV 20 kHz dual active bridge has proved validity parameters. no-load steady-state inrush tests full-load test show very good fit between simulated experimentally measured waveforms. comparison classical simplified neglecting shows significant difference test.

Sliding Mode Control of a Bidirectional Buck/Boost DC-DC Converter with Constant Switching Frequency

In this paper, sliding mode control (SMC) for a bidirectional buck/boost DC-DC converter (BDC) with constant frequency in continuous conduction mode (CCM) is discussed. Since the converter is a high-order converter, the reduced-order sliding manifold is exploited. Because of right-half-plan zero (RHPZ) in the converter’s duty ratio to output voltage transfer function, sliding mode current...

Three - Phase Step - up Dc – Dc Converter with a Three - Phase High - Frequency

This paper presents a new three-phase step-up dc–dc converter with a three-phase high-frequency (HF) isolation transformer in a current-mode controlled closed loop. The converter’s main characteristics are reduced input ripple current, step-up voltage, HF transformer, reduced output voltage ripple due to threepulse output current, and the presence of only three active switches, this being a mai...

A Non Isolated Bidirectional Dc-dc Converter with Soft Switching

Power electronic converter systems for applications such as telecom, automotive, and space can have dc voltage buses that are backed up with batteries or super-capacitors. These batteries or super-capacitors are connected to the buses with bidirectional dc–dc converters which allow them to discharged or charged, depending on the operating conditions. Bidirectional dc–dc converters may be isolat...

Hybrid Z-Source DC-DC Converter with ZVZCS and Power Transformer Resetting: Design, Modeling, and Fabrication

This paper introduces a novel two transistors forward topology employing a z-source to achieve ZVZCS and power transformer resetting for various applications. Comparing with the forward converter, this topology has the advantage of displaying ZCS condition with an added Z-Source and no additional switches when the switches turn on, and that ZVS condition happens when the switches turn off. Duty...

A New ZVZCS Isolated Dual Series Resonant DC-DC Converter with EMC Considerations

A novel ZVZCS isolated dual series-resonant active-clamp dc–dc converter is proposed to obtain high efficiency. The proposed converter employs an active-clamp technique, while a series-resonant scheme controls the output voltage with the complementary pulse width modulation controller. The active-clamp circuit serves to recycle the energy stored in the leakage inductance or the magnetizing ...
